K9 Wellness Academy offers an exclusive board and train program which are tailored to best fit the needs of your dog. In a board and train program the owner will leave their dog with us for 2-10 weeks, depending on the package selected, and the training begins the moment your dog arrives. We tailor our training to fit all breeds, and we will not turn a single breed away.
All levels of dogs are accepted from those crazy puppies to the advanced dogs that want to level up and further sharpen their education. Any and every dog can benefit from elevating their training to create a synchronous relationship between the dog and the owner. While there are three different packages available, depending on your dog we may recommend one over the other.
Each package includes basic foundational behaviors such as manners around other people, other dogs and in the house. During a typical training day here at K9 Wellness Academy, your dog gets 1-2 training sessions per day as well as plenty of exercise and conditioning, as well as a socialization period to maximize their stay here at K9 Wellness Academy. So how do you know if a board and train program is right for your dog?
Sending your K9 companion to our board and train program accelerates their training much faster than doing weekly lessons on your own. Our goal for you is to establish good, clear communication between you and your dog to create set expectations and standards for them to perform their very best, and to truly maximize the relationship you can establish them.
What are the program options?
Puppy Jump Start: 2 week package
This 2-week package provides basic fundamentals which are ideal for dogs who lack any previous foundation or training. This package is only available for puppies that are 4 months or younger.

​What to expect at the end of these 2-weeks:
At the end of the 2 week package you and your dog will be equipped to establish a better relationship and connection built through basic fundamental obedience. You and your dog will be set up with a go home session where we educate you on how to maintain these behaviors and keep your pup’s obedience in tip top shape!
Puppy to Adult Program: 2 weeks now --> 2 weeks later
Our Puppy-to-Adult Program is ideal for owners who prefer a flexible alternative to a full month away from their puppy.
Puppies aged 8 to 16 weeks begin with a 2-week foundational session that focuses on crate training, potty habits, basic obedience, and early socialization.​ When the puppy reaches 6 to 8 months of age, they return for a second 2-week advanced session.

Phase 2:
• 2 week advanced training
• Increasing duration on sit and downs

What we do during the phase 2 is dependent on participation in private lessons and/or group lessons as well as consistency in training between stays .​​
Silver Package: 3 week package
This 3-week package provides basic fundamentals which are ideal for dogs who lack any previous foundation or training. This package is great for new beginner dogs.​

What to expect at the end of these 3-weeks:
At the end of the 3 week package you and your dog will be equipped to establish a better relationship and connection built through basic fundamental obedience. You and your dog will be set up with a go home session where we educate you on how to maintain these behaviors and keep your pup’s obedience in tip top shape!
Gold Package: 5 week package (Most Common for adult dogs)
This package includes all of the basic obedience and fundamentals from the beginner 5-week package with an added step towards more advanced training. This program is ideal for a client that seeks a higher standard of training that builds a confident dog both on and off the leash. This program includes an e-collar, which is a tool used to solidify your basic on leash skills while guiding your training towards off leash obedience by creating a reliable dog.

What to expect at the end of these 5-weeks:
At the end of this 5-week camp you and your dog will have the tools needed for controlled on leash obedience, with an advancement towards off leash control. This helps bring confidence in knowing that you can maintain your dog’s obedience even without a leash. At the end of their 5 week stay, you will be included with a go home session for your dog as well as 3 follow up sessions as needed.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel you the board and train with a week notice, then we will refund the deposit of 750 dollars.
Refund Policy
​Behavior is not static. An animal will not continue to perform even trained behaviors without ongoing practice. Ultimately, your dog’s behavior is your responsibility. There are no money back guarantees or refunds once lessons have commenced.
