K9 Wellness Academy offers an exclusive board and train program which are tailored to best fit the needs of your dog. In a board and train program the owner will leave their dog with us for 2-10 weeks, depending on the package selected, and the training begins the moment your dog arrives. We tailor our training to fit all breeds, and we will not turn a single breed away.
All levels of dogs are accepted from those crazy puppies to the advanced dogs that want to level up and further sharpen their education. Any and every dog can benefit from elevating their training to create a synchronous relationship between the dog and the owner. While there are three different packages available, depending on your dog we may recommend one over the other.
Each package includes basic foundational behaviors such as manners around other people, other dogs and in the house. During a typical training day here at K9 Wellness Academy, your dog gets 1-2 training sessions per day as well as plenty of exercise and conditioning, as well as a socialization period to maximize their stay here at K9 Wellness Academy. So how do you know if a board and train program is right for your dog?
Sending your K9 companion to our board and train program accelerates their training much faster than doing weekly lessons on your own. Our goal for you is to establish good, clear communication between you and your dog to create set expectations and standards for them to perform their very best, and to truly maximize the relationship you can establish them.

Puppy Jump Start: 2 week package
This 2-week package provides basic fundamentals which are ideal for dogs who lack any previous foundation or training. This package is great for new beginner dogs, or puppies.

You and your dog will be set up with a go home session where we educate you on how to maintain these behaviors and keep your pup’s obedience in tip top shape!
Silver Package: 3 week package
This 3-week package provides basic fundamentals which are ideal for dogs who lack any previous foundation or training. This package is great for new beginner dogs, or puppies.

You and your dog will be set up with a go home session where we educate you on how to maintain these behaviors and keep your pup’s obedience in tip top shape!
Gold Package: 5 week package (Most Common for adult dogs)
This package includes all of the basic obedience and fundamentals from the beginner 5-week package with an added step towards more advanced training. This program is ideal for a client that seeks a higher standard of training that builds a confident dog both on and off the leash. This program includes an e-collar, which is a tool used to solidify your basic on leash skills while guiding your training towards off leash obedience by creating a reliable dog.

What to expect at the end of these 5-weeks:
At the end of this 5-week camp you and your dog will have the tools needed for controlled on leash obedience, with an advancement towards off leash control. This helps bring confidence in knowing that you can maintain your dog’s obedience even without a leash. At the end of their 5 week stay, you will be included with a go home session for your dog as well as 3 follow up sessions as needed.
Platinum Package: 10 weeks
This premium package is designed to create the ultimate companion who is trained to take on various social and physical circumstances. This curriculum includes all of the benefits of the previous packages, with an added proofing-period allowing your dog to solidify their off leash obedience in highly distracting environments. This level of training is designed for owners seeking an elite dog trained to adjust to a multitude of situations. Ultimately, this training helps to create a stable and obedient dog both on and off leash no matter where you go.

What to expect at the end of these 10-weeks:
At the end of this 10-week program, you will have the tools needed to conquer your training both on and off leash with a dog who is superiorly adjusted to different situations. At the end of their stay you will be included with a go home session for you and your dog, as well as 3 private follow up sessions as needed.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel you the board and train with a 24 hour notice, then we will reschedule your lesson. If there is no or less than a 24 hour notice then we will keep the deposit for 500 dollars.
Refund Policy
​Behavior is not static. An animal will not continue to perform even trained behaviors without ongoing practice. Ultimately, your dog’s behavior is your responsibility. There are no money back guarantees or refunds once lessons have commenced.

All requests for transfers or refunds must be requested 3 business day prior to the first lesson.

A 10% cancellation fee will be deducted from all approved refunds.
