What we use, what we sell and where we buy our equipment

I often get asked where to buy gear. While Amazon does offer some decent basic options, many products there are either overpriced for the quality or unreliable—and in some cases, even unsafe. That’s why I created this page: to show you exactly what we use and where we source our gear. We also keep many of these items in stock, so you're welcome to purchase them directly from us.

All of my slip leashes, slip collars, ball tugs, door anchors, and prong collar safety clips come from Paracord by TDC. Every piece is handmade with great attention to detail, and she offers a fast turnaround—typically between 2 to 4 weeks. Most of my gear is custom-made to my preferences for my clients, and the quality has always been top-notch.

If there’s something you see on her website that I don’t currently have in stock, just let me know—I’ll place an order for you. You’ll get it at the exact same price listed on her site, with no markup.

The place cots from Four Legs Four Pets are a total game changer compared to the bulky, clunky ones you find on Amazon.

While there’s nothing inherently wrong with the Amazon versions, the quality just doesn’t match up—and for what you’re paying, the Four Legs Four Pets cots are a much better value.

I keep the 30x30 and 52x30 sizes in stock, in my brand colors. If you’re looking for a different size or color, check out their website and let me know what you’d like—I can order it for you, and you’ll get it at a lower price than buying directly from them.

Herm Sprenger prong collars are the only ones I trust.

Many off-brand versions lack a critical design feature: the center plate. Without it, the collar doesn’t apply even pressure around the dog’s neck. Instead, it creates a torquing (twisting) motion that can cause discomfort or even injury, and it disrupts the pressure-and-release mechanism that makes the prong collar an effective communication tool when used correctly.

With Herm Sprenger, you're getting consistent quality, proper engineering, and reliability—things that matter when you're working with powerful, sensitive, or high-drive dogs. I don’t compromise on that.

Lucy Pet Rolls are a great option for affordable, mid-value dog treats. Most dogs tolerate them well, and they rarely cause stomach issues.

Red Line K9 has amazing tug toys and it is also where I source all of my long lines from.

I really like the round biothane leashes that are 1/4 inch and the 3/8" biothane leash and I always buy my long lines without handles.

Spot & Tango is my go-to for dog treats and also my dog’s daily food, which I use during training. I really love the quality of the ingredients—it’s air-dried, nutritious, and surprisingly affordable for what you get.
